Hi does anyone know if you can still access the ranges from Conford?

Yes. from Conford there are two ways.
Either walk all the way to the bottom, across the ford and keep going until you reach the gate, or, (the shortcut) which is walk across the village green (by the old school house) and down the track, over the little wooden bridge. This brings you out just before the gate.
I walk there 2 or 3 times a week, if you want me to show yo, let me know.
