The Bramshott Bugle? - Sudha Rai (7th Nov 2011 - 20:34:48) I have just read the thread on the Highways,Byways etc...someone has mentioned the Bramshott Bugle!....what is it? Please can someone tell me how I can get hold of a copy? Yours anticipatingly, Sudha.

Lovely concept for drawing our community together, exchange of information, getting prepared for winter with list of volunteers for help in bad weather ......

Re: The Bramshott Bugle? - Sudha Rai (8th Nov 2011 - 11:09:21) Hi Jeanette, Thank you for explaining to me about the B.Bugle...Please can you tell me where I can get hold of one?Are you able to spare me your old copy?Do businesses advertise in the B.Bugle?I grew up to the sounds of the bugle in the Far East where my father was serving in the Gurkhas....every evening at dusk some soldier in the distance played the "Last Post" and I used to stand to attention...next to my father...brings back alot of memories...specially now so close to the 11/11/11.

I will drop a copy into the restaurant. I fully appreciate your memories stirred by military connections. The first time I came to Bramshott was when I walked the footpath through the Hangers and came to the war graves. I had no idea it was there and it was a very emotional moment. We are proud to be able to welcome the Canadian war veterans each year and it's lovely that Liphook school gets actively involved too.
