Rubbish dumped on Station Road
- Horrified (20th Nov 2023 - 20:53:06)

Does any one know the source of the junk dumped on the road salt chest on Station Road ? It has been reported to the council as fly tipping. Unwanted items can be taken to the tip, not abandoned on the road side creating an eye sore.

Newtown area has been looking like a slum for as long as I can recall, but recently fast worsening, see the back alley.
Parish Council? Liphook In Bloom?

What has fly-tipping got to do with Liphook in Bloom?

It's not up to LIB to clear rubbish. They are volunteers who do an amazing job making our village look attractive.

Fly-tipping and littering makes my blood boil!

Speaking of Newtown, the parking continues to be a nightmare for residents and visitors. It now appears that Newtown Road is being used as a parking lot for old Volvos, with no respect for double yellow lines!

I believe the back alley of station road is privately owned so not really the responsibility of the local authorities.
