COVID

Where can you get a covid and flu vaccine local. Swan surgery ran out 2hrs this morning. Seems swan surgery underestimated the amount of people that want it. You can’t contact them at any of their surgery’s very long waiting time. You go on line swan surgery no help whatsoever nothing you want to no can’t even make an appointment for a jab.

I think we're being called by age/vulnerability as last time

I don’t think so I have a heart condition so should have been called by swan but no contact. This morning it was a walk in from 9 o’clock but ran out by 11 o’clock. So just wondering if it’s available anywhere else.

Anyone know whether Liphook had any more Covid injections for tomorrow (Fri) as they had run out on Wed. Petersfield have some but why should I go there when they should have some here.

Well done Swan Medical Group --- went this morning, to Petersfield, for my COIVD and Flu vaccination...... pleasant staff, smooth and stress free procedure. Even with a queue; the registration, medical questionnaire and injections only took 10 minutes.
In the grand scheme of things, having to go to Petersfield was a very very minor inconvenience.
Everyone should be grateful to live in a country where getting a vaccination is so easily accessible

Ok Pauline but if you haven’t got transportation and are an invalid not so good. Swan surgery website say’s how good they are with this that and another but have fallen short with the distribution of the vaccine liphook and liss surgery’s ran out very quickly. And as for trying to phone them forget it . They have a very long way to go to meet the high standards of before the merger. Hope they get their act together.

Pauline, I think you were very lucky with your experience this morning as I also attended the Swan surgery this opening for my vaccine and was given it 45 minutes after the time I booked for (almost an hour of waiting around), after queuing for a very long time outside. I’m very pleased it wasn’t raining as it would have been a very unpleasant experience. I would give the benefit of the doubt, but I’ve had the flu vaccine for over 15 years now and never spent more than 10/15 minutes queuing at a time. Liphook clinics have had as many people in the past and been far more efficient.
