South Western Railway
- AF (12th Sep 2021 - 19:51:34)

Just when you thought SW Trains couldn't get any worse they prove you wrong again. I'm sure if you look for the worn incompetent in the dictionary it will say example SW Trains.

This weekend they had rail replacement buses due to engineering works. On Saturday they stopped at Haslemere and a bus was needed to go to Liphook, however SW Trains couldn't organize the buses so for the early trains they were rushing around like headless chickens giving the passengers Taxis.

Then on Sunday the trains stopped at Guildford and I caught the bus from Guildford however the driver only knew how to get to Haslemere. He didn't know where Liphook, Liss, Petersfield or Havant were or how to get there. He tried a Sat Nav but that tried to take him under a low bridge. At this point I helped out and became an unpaid navigator to get him to Liphook and pointed him in the right direction for Liss.

Then on Sunday afternoon I went to catch a bus from Haslemere to Guildford, I had to go earlier than planned as about 70% of the buses have been cancelled. This driver was also a bit hopeless, we were on the A3 and went past both turnoffs to Guildford and he then said "Oh I should have turned off there" and any of you who are familar with the A3 we had to go another 7/8 miles to turn around, and of course missed the Train connection we should have caught.
