So we have our very own gin distillery in Liphook! Has anyone been offered a tasting yet?

There isn't a great deal of info on the website. They seem to stockpile a lot of waste paper outside the building, lets hope it isn’t a fire hazard with the methane nearby...

Hi Mary,
We hope that you are well and glad to see you have shown interest in our business, we have recently moved our Distillery to Liphook and are very much enjoying being part of the Liphook community.
Real English Drinks Distillery takes our corporate social responsibility very seriously and we bail and recycle all of our plastic and cardboard. This may be what you have seen outside our premises, we also have had a full fire and pest control safety check.(in fact we received a double A rating on our BRC audit last week).
We are hoping to be able to support and participate in any future community events and look forward to becoming an integral part of the wider Liphook community.
If you have any further questions or suggestions please feel free to get in contact with us.

Well said Andrew and we wish you all the best in your venture! Absolutely agree that anyone with a question about your business is much better coming to you direct than voicing their concern on a public forum.
If you should ever need any voluntary tasters, just let me know...

Hi, Andrew! Glad to see your positive response and also that the ethanol containers have disappeared off site. It is great to see the premises smart and the very well maintained vehicles outside.
Gin is my favourite tipple - I have been travelling to the Silent Pool establishment at Newlands Corner for tastings and purchase. If you decide to follow suit, do post news here and I shall be the first to pop in.

Hello Andrew, please excuse my ignorance as I know nothing about alcohol. I spent many years working in Alton and I was constantly being told by brewery workers (there were lots of breweries in Alton in those days) that the water in Alton was very good for brewing beer, (something to do with the chalk, maybe? I don't know.) Is it for similar reasons you have come to Liphook?

Hi Andrew
That’s great news and welcome to Liphook. I see you are keen to support the local community and wondered if you would be interested in donating some alcohol to the local football club competition? We are raising money for the clubhouse by offering tickets to win a wheelbarrow of booze. Any donation to this would be gratefully received. Prize to be drawn on Saturday 29th May. If you would like further details please email me at bizzykoffman@liphook-united.org. Many thanks!
