Local elections
- Old local (7th Apr 2021 16:43:28)

On the 6 of may we vote for new councillors . Just had a flier for the conservative candidates come through my letter box. Very interesting one for Grayshott, one for county council, one for district council, one for police commissioner. The oldest living in liphook 2006 then 2011 the other lives in Grayshott. Well not saying they have a lot to learn but in the flier not a word about our conservation square being devastated by traffic all about Bramshott. No one seems to want to get to grips with our main problem the traffic through our square or the signage on the north junction directing traffic through liphook for Haslemere totally ridiculous. No mention of the 5 relief roads put up by H C C Highways. If DEBBIE CURNOW-FORD wants to become our County Councillor you need to get to grips with the important issues ROADS HOUSES ect. Our conservation square is far more important than village gates in BRAMSHOTT. The HEADLEY Road Longmoor Road, Midhurst Road, Portsmouth Road, Haslemere Road,The Square, Are all very Dangerous especially at School Time. It’s time liphook got a fair crack of the whip so to our new candidates you have a big job on your hands best of luck.

I think the Curnow Fords live in Bramshott so no surprise they prioritise that area.

Get with it guys, election flyers are bumph for the gullible, at best some kind of fuzzy wish list, stuff like 'if you elect me I'd like to make your area better and happier and cleaner and better funded because I love your area more than they do, I will make the streets cleaner and the greens greener and you'll all be richer, the unequal will be more equal, if you are poor you will be rich, if you are rich you will be richer, if you are lame you will walk and....'. then that's the last the masses hear from any of them till next time😁
