Re: Liphook Carnival - Rob S (12th Oct 2020 - 13:17:06)
I was amazed to see a fun fair at the Butts in Alton the other week, so that might still happen I guess?
Re: Liphook Carnival - rolli (12th Oct 2020 - 14:07:26)
why would anyone want to go to a funfair at the moment???
Re: Liphook Carnival - Kay (12th Oct 2020 - 17:04:29)
I heard the funfair in Alton arrived without permission from the council so were asked to move on.

And no doubt yellow numpty you will have a higher chance of catching Coronavirus, passing it on and possibly contributing to another death, selfish idiot!
Re: Liphook Carnival - Ann (17th Oct 2020 - 17:29:12)
Yellow numpty is an idiot big time 😬. I wonder what he will say if himself or any members of his family catch covid19.
Re: Liphook Carnival - Yellow bannanna Adrian (18th Oct 2020 - 14:15:45)
Just for information purposes I have had Covid 19 and like 99.5% of infected people i recovered. People need to understand that if youre under 65 this is not a dangerous diesease and we should get on with life and stop running scared.
For information i heard a good documentry called The inquiry on BBC radio about living with Covid and for stats the BBC News website had a breakdown on deaths related to age and this proved that the young have nothing to fear. I do agree that the young do need to keep distance when mixing with people who are older as they are at risk.
As regards to a funfair this is a thing that is aimed at young people so will be fine.

Yellow bananas I 'm not surprised you have had Covid- glad you were lucky enough not to suffer any long term consequences or risk killing someone you care about. Typical of the inconsiderate attitude of many of our population " I'm alright Jack attitude " Well you just don't know if you could be one of the unlucky ones that gets this bad or even worse kills you. I have to be doubly cautious I suffer with Asthma and also are part of support network for 88yr old Mother in Law with severe heart condition - don't have luxury of being able to stay home - hold down full time job
Adrian-Boris Johnson is well under 65-he was extremely ill when he had Covid. You keep spouting the same kind of ill-informed nonsense regardless of the facts.
Re: Liphook Carnival - Ian (25th Oct 2020 - 11:48:28)
Well, typical carnival weather last night and I for one did not miss the carnival at all! Maybe with this enforced break it is now a good time to consider if the village breaks with tradition and looks to move the event to the summer?
No No it’s a night carnival it would not be the same. I think most participants would not take part. Well over 100 years with no problems I think the carnival committee are doing a grand job power to their elbow. Roll on next year should be a bumper.
