Geoff I’m afraid I don’t understand your query about BPM? The hardcore is spent mortar cleaned off of laid brick, and broken stock bricks.

I think both your respondents misunderstood the term "hardcore", Fred. You and I know it to be a building material but I think Geoff was referring to hardcore pornographic films, and I think Frank is referring to hardcore dance music as BPM is an abbreviation for "beats per minute". It might be worth asking Arthur Rudd in Hollywater, he might take it off your hands for you.

It occurs to me that BPM (Beat per minute!) in yesteryear could have been a carpet cleaning term!
