In these difficult times I'd like you to join me in sparing a thought and showing our gratitude not just for the NHS staff who are caring for the sick but for all the people in local shops and businesses who are helping us to get through. I just got back from Sainsburys where the staff are busy stacking shelves, managing queues and serving customers putting themselves at greater risk of infection just to keep us supplied with essentials. It's not just Sainsburys but all the other shops that are providing a service as essential as health care, the CoOp, Gambles etc. etc. If you agree with me and would like to all express your thanks to all these lovely people please add to this thread. Let's show them that, although they may get the odd miserable customer, the rest of us really appreciate what they do an a daily basis. Also if anyone is having trouble managing at this time please contact me on if you think I can help or even if you just want to chat. Take care neighbours and we'll get through this. God bless you all

I appreciate the supermarket staff working to give us food. If the panic buyers are reading this please leave enough for others. We should not leave it to staff to ration us, should not have been neccessary anyway.
