Chase hospital ward
- Becks (25th Mar 2020 - 19:04:30)

Chase community hospital (Bordon) has a perfectly good ward but sadly still not open !. Lets open the ward back up!. I worked in this ward many years ago and it isn’t massive but has all full potential to save life’s and relieve major hospitals.

Fantastic idea, should never of been allowed to be closed, in the first
place!

Agree. A wasted opportunity. Chase needs to be a hospital again, either as a hospital or recovery/rehab centre.

I agree .... It still Has the original equipment such as oxygen valves and patient alarms everything needed.apart from the beds . The former.ward could take.much strain away from major hospital, the physio department was also built with oxygen valves and could also hold patients . The former.ward.also has its.own entrance round the side this could reduce the virus.from spreading. Around the rest of the hospital.

Great idea .Just a question or two.How long would that take to check all electrics ,waste ,heating ,lighting etc ,and the main question where do the staff come from bearing in mind that we may barely have enough to staff the major hospitals.
Kitchens shut down at least 7 years ago.Do you fancy cleaning the whole place to start with???

Should start a petition!. Chase should reopen like st mary’s treatment centre in Portsmouth.

Considering the urgency I do agree 💯. The ward could probably be up and running in a matter of hours with government & NHS support plus the army have built bases as large as reading within months.
