How Ironic
- Ian (25th Mar 2020 - 14:24:52)
Having just been obliged by essential needs to drive through the village it was noticeable that the majority of people I saw out and about walking the streets are from the more mature age group! Umm?

Ian stop being so paranoid it’s bad enough as it is with out you stirring it up. People can go out and walk but stay away from other people ie 6 mt or more. This virus is not air borne .Please stop causing panic.Yes its bad but common sense is what we need.

Then the old need to stop bellyaching whenever they see a younger person out and about. Across Talkback, and other local forums all you can see are cyclists, teenagers and families being chastised for being out, and they are not all in big groups “spreading “ the virus but simply getting their exercise their way

Apparently after containment and delay we have now entered the self righteous stage.

Of course the virus is airbourne how else does a sneeze or cough travel except through the air? Yes older people are out as well as younger but the ones I see are not usually grouped together chatting or playing football and younger joggers are not giving way on a narrow pavement or path but ploughing on thinking as usual that they take priority not even slowing down to avoid others. And it is minimum 2 metre distancing not maximum
