Just to let everybody know, the carols will be held on 23rd December starting at 6.30 and lasting about an hour.
Greene King have agreed to sponsor the event and mulled wine and chestnuts will be available as usual and the carol singing will be assisted by Vanessa Breach and her choir.
Donations will be split between Liphook in Bloom and Liphook Carnival.
Look forward to seeing you all there.

The organisers and the Royal Anchor are preparing, the singing support arranged.............all that's hoped for is Carol singers and children to come along and enjoy the village event in the square.
See you there

If you can't cope with standing outside in the elements
St Matthews [Blackmoor] have their carols on the evening of Sunday 15th.
It starts at 6:30pm but it gets absolutely packed out so best to get there early if you need to sit down.
It's a lovely atmosphere and there are mince pies and hot drinks afterwards.
The Nativity display in the foyer is terrific, the whole place has been turned into a stable.

Thank you for that Dawn, Perhaps we should mention everywhere else that are doing carols!
This particular thread was for the Carols in the Square and yes everything is going fine for yet another smashing time.
See you all there on the 23rd 6.30.

Well said Peter. I think we're actually only interested in the carols in Liphook. Plenty of carols elsewhere but not quite the same as our now traditional gathering.
Thank you for organising.

Yes, do feel free to mention everywhere else that are doing Carols. I'm sure that everyone who loves singing them will appreciate it.
For other 'insiders' there is a Carol singing workshop in Grayshott on Tuesday 17th at 7:45pm

For all of you 'outsiders,' I hope you have a lovely time and sing your hearts out. We used to really enjoy it when the kids were younger.

Look forward to seeing you Dawn, even if the kids have grown up and left.
Perhaps they could bring their kids and keep the tradition going.
See You all There

Just a nudge to remind everybody that the long standing local tradition of Carols in the Square will be happening on 23rd December starting at 6.30pm.
The usual offerings of mince pies, roast chestnuts will be available along with mulled wine. Vanessa and her friends will be there to boost the volume and we look forward to seeing everybody.
We are hoping for some surprise appearances as well.
