Ram raiders
- S Holmes (11th Jul 2019 - 14:48:22)

Good to see them sent down. Think the bloke from The Mead might have wished he'd looked a little further afield

Good to see they have been named and shamed.

So, what happened to the 4th man?

On reading the text it seems they are only charged with the one offence. so was it a different 'team' who did all the other cashpoints in the area then?

exert:
They pleaded guilty to conspiracy to burgle on May 7, 2019 and have been handed the following sentences:

Joseph Beech, 46, of Applegarth Avenue, Guildford - five years in custody for conspiracy to burgle.
Daniel Hilton, 33, of The Mead, Liphook, - four and a half years for conspiracy to burgle and six months consecutive for dangerous driving after admitting being the driver of the getaway BMW.
James Sayers, 29, of Rushett Common, Bramley, Guildford - five years for conspiracy to burgle.
The judge described the burglary as a "professional and ruthless" crime that would have had a significant impact on a small town like Liphook.

Yes, a large number of the other ATMs were raided by another gang. I believe they were also caught and sentenced.

Certainly ruthless, not sure I'd agree with professional - picking a cash machine within 5 mins walk of your own home, and choosing to do it after a long bank holiday weekend when people have been taking cash out without refill for several days?

It was possible that this one the police had the most evidence for.

They should be made to pay for the damage they caused out of their own pockets! Sell their assets! Off with their heads!
