Vet Recommendation please
- Willo (18th Sep 2018 - 08:32:24)

Hi,

Can someone recommend the best vet around for cats and dogs?

Thanks

The vet next to Hanson`s the hairdressers on the parade of shops has a good reputation.

Great thanks I was thinking of going there but always good to get a recommendation.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Small World Vets on Station Road. Phill and the team are fantastic.

We use Woodland Vets in the Headley Rd who are excellent but also hear good things about the vets in Station Rd.

Yes, very happy to recommend the Small World Vet Centre in Station Road. Very caring staff.

Yes, Phil from Small World Vets is brilliant. Also has separate waiting rooms for dogs and and cats, so no major clash horrors.

I decided to go to the big companion Care vets in Farnham as the normal opening hours suit our needs better - I had to pay extra when we previously had an emergency on a Sunday
Mon-Fri open until 7pm
Sat to 5:30
Sunday to 3:30.

Most of our visits are pre-scheduled no emergency visits so it isn't a drama - but if we need to rush in on a Sunday we know we can. There are quite a few vets there. The only problem is getting out without buying loads of treats and toys!!!!!

I've heard many good things about Small World vets recently, but my family have used Woodland Vets on Headley Road since I was a kid...as long as I can remember and have been brilliant with my new cat who really doesn't like being handled. There is a nurse there, I can't remember her name, but she really is a 'cat whisperer'!

Having been a client of both over the years, I've recently returned to woodland vets and rate their knowledge and care more highly.

Have used Woodlands on the Headley Road for over 20 years for my dogs. Always helpful, kind & compassionate. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Phil at Small World Vets is great. I would highly recommend him. Always try to squeeze you in same day as well.

I have been a client of both woodlands and small world in the past. I like both but my vet of choice is small world.

Mar Alonso in Petersfield, wholeheartedly recommended.
I would not take my westies anywhere else, - and we had tried many vets and specialists over the years before meeting her a year ago now.
