Watching the World Cup!
- Mum of 3 (12th Jun 2018 @ 12:43:44)

Advice please on which pubs in the village will be showing the games where a young teen in tow (aged 12) can also watch? Recommendations appreciated!

Best to keep 12 year olds away from pubs showing football unless you want them exposed to bad language, alcohol abuse, tribal chanting and generally ignorant behaviour

The same could be said about rugby! The football World Cup is the biggest sporting event on the planet. So if you have football mad kids this is a great event to enjoy with home.

Dave, you forgot to add 'abject disappointment' to your list.

I would suggest the sports bar at Old thorns who are showing all match’s. I took my 11 son to watch the Liverpool game and it was a lovely atmosphere and so much nicer than The Anchor!
