Man Up

The above TV programme (shown Weds 2 August, BBC2) contains some great (albeit brief) location shots of Liphook train station. Also some great scenes at Waterloo and on South Bank. Good film and very well acted. Check it out on iPlayer!

When this started I thought it was going to be another dreary gay play but it was excellent although I did not recognise Liphook station. It was good to see Ken Stott ( Rebus) again albeit a bit older and fatter.

Good view of Liphook station! The film's a bit naff though, but OK I suppose for a rainy evening.

The exterior of the station (called Brockenhurst and from which Nancy catches the train to Waterloo near the start of the film) is actually Godalming but the platform shots are Liphook.
