To all the enquiries about the Hard of Hearing Clinic. This facility has been running at the Peak Centre for the last two years or more . It is held usually the third Tuesday and Wednesday of the month between 11a.m. and noon. Bill can give advice on repairs and if able depending on the problem fix it. He also has batteries which he can supply. The facility also takes place at Hasleway Haslemere and Haslemere Hospital . Hope this helps!!

can someone tell me when the next hearing clinic is at the peak centre?

Re: Hard of Hearing Clinic
- ANNE HALL (4th Jul 2020 - 09:22:47)

Further to your enquiry unfortunately because of the circumstances at this time with the Covid-19 the Hearing Clinic cannot take place. If it is just batteries you require then they are available at the Peak Centre on a Tuesday between 11a.m. and 1p.m. when the Centre is open for sale of fresh farm eggs.

If it is other help you require you will need to contact the Haslemere Hospital Hearing Department or the Royal Surrey..
Hope that helps.

Re: Hard of Hearing Clinic
- ANNE HALL (7th Jul 2020 - 14:25:44)

As several people in the village are needing assistance with their hearing aids as mentioned in my previous post and because the Clinic cannot take place at the moment at the Peak Centre it will be necessary to contact either Haslemere or Guildford Hospitals. If it is just batteries you require these can be obtained from Guildford Hearing Clinic by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope. and they will be sent back by post. This is if you are unable to get to the Peak Centre on a Tuesday morning between 11a.m. and 1p.m. when they are open for the sale of eggs, plants and face masks and
where they also have a small stock of batteries.
Could I please ask that if anyone reading this message is aware of elderly neighbours or friends who may need assistance that the above information is passed on to them as I know that a lot of people do not have access to use a computer or going out at this time.. Keep safe
Many thanks- Anne Hall
