The New Society Jazz and R&B Band plays music from several genres -from the dixieland of Louis Armstrong and the 30's dance bands of Hylton and Fox to the swing of Goodman and Miller; through the laid back tempos of classic New Orleans Rhythm and Blues of Professor Longhair,Fats Domino and Dr John to the classic Rock and Roll era of the fifties and early sixties.
