The Bramshott & Liphook Care Group is a local Registered Charity whose main function is to provide transport to and from hospitals and surgeries etc. (local and further afield) for those,mostly elderly, people in the community,who either do not own a car,or,through disability etc. are now unable to drive.All those involved with the Group i.e.drivers,co-ordinators(the telephone link between clients & drivers) and committee members are volunteers.
The Group has been in existence for 28 years and has built up a good reputation,giving local residents a reliable,efficient,and,above all friendly car service,enabling them to meet their medical appointments.
However we are always in need of more drivers in order to cope with the constant demand.We would point out that all our drivers receive an appropriate petrol allowance to cover the cost of their trips on behalf of the Care Group.
