Liphook Business Initiative

offers an exciting opportunity for businesses to promote themselves.

25th July 2009: With the inception of the Liphook Business Initiative at long last the businesses of Liphook have a voice. The next meeting is being held at The Millennium Hall in Liphook on Wednesday 5th August at 6pm where Liphook based businesses large and small are being encouraged to join the initiative. The mission statement of the group is ‘To promote the businesses of Liphook to the Liphook community’. It is hoped that with a united voice the businesses of Liphook can work together and create exciting opportunities to increase their profile to the local community and beyond.

Rob Evans of A3 Car Rental explains: “It’s been too long where local businesses have been ignored and the community get in their cars and travel miles when there is a local business around the corner which would serve their needs.” Lee Stewart, Managing Director of Print IT adds “It is time for us as a business community to raise our profile to other local businesses, and to offer a united lobbying group to fight for better services and opportunities for the trading community. I urge businesses of all sizes to consider adding their weight to this group. By speaking with a united voice we can make a real difference.”

The group is not charging a joining fee and hopes to offer its members an opportunities to: promote and advertise themselves, network with other local businesses, increasing incoming investment in the Liphook area and have a voice to lobby organisations such as Councils, Landlords or Transport companies. All Liphook’s businesses are invited and encouraged to either attend the meeting, where they can register their membership, alternatively further information and membership forms will be available at A3 Car Rentals, A3 Sports and Liphook Hardware or you can register your interest by emailing the group on liphookbusinessinitiative@googlemail.com
