Evening all, apologies for the 'gates' that are in my archway(set 12 feet back from the road out of view) but i have recently purchased a dog who needs room to roam so as a quick fix I have put a barrier up to stop him venturing onto the main road. I also wouldn't want him out mixing with people who would be teaching him bad English because oh is the spelling of the word you mean, unless of course it was ow and you had hurt yourself on my 'gates' and then you would be trespassing as you would only find them closed when the pub is out of hours!! Please feel free to come in and let me know of any objections anyone has about anything to do with the place itself and i will do my best to keep the place in as ""gooder nick as possible my old muckas""(broken english) for those who need it!!. These 'gates' will be replaced by something easier on the eye when we can afford to do so! Things are tough right now! Happy Xmas x x x x
P.S. While I'm on here I would also like to apologise to anyone that was on the premises Wednesday evening as a woman who was 'under the influence' not only abused the people sat in the Public Bar but also disturbed the private function in the Lounge Bar, so a sorry from me as I always thought the youngsters would be the one's to keep me on my toes not the 60+'s Happy New Year xx

Oh my goodness, just went past the Green Dragon, are those wooden gates in the archway (and the new fence running beside the Bank) keeping a puppy dog in the car park? Shocking, stopping it running on to the old A3, what is Liphook coming too!
