Warning Lidl Car Park - Jo (1st Dec 2012 - 04:55:42) I parked in the newly resurfaced Bordon Lidl car park today and noticed a new sign by the entrance. It said' Parking for Lidl customers only, maximum 1.5hrs', there is a private firm who will be monitoring this and will clamp you with a £50 release fee. I am sure this will catch many people out, especially the people who work in the shops. As far as I know it is illegal to clamp cars now. The most they could do is to send you an invoice (not a fine) and hope you pay up without them having to start legal action against you.

Re: Warning Lidl Car Park - Jay W (1st Dec 2012 - 17:51:09) Well my elderly parents find it difficult to get round the Bordon Forest Centre in 1.5 hours, there are plenty of shops they like to visit. Fortunately we noticed the signs and parked in the car park at the Co-op/Peacocks end of the Forest Centre - there is no time restriction there and on Lidl re-opening day it was much easier to park!

Re: Warning Lidl Car Park - Susie (1st Dec 2012 - 21:24:27) ...and it was weird. After weeks of undergoing a facelift, it looked exactly the same as before and still exactly the same as every other Lidl store.
