threatening by numbers - Mary W. (24th Sep 2007 - 08:22:11) Unpleasant experience leaving Millennium Hall after film on Friday. All people returning to carpark had to pass through congested narrow path opposite hall, which was almost blocked by teenagers, much taller than us elderly ladies. All sorts of rude remarks about 'been to the bingo, dear', etc. Quite scary. Insulting too, since most of the people in my group were retired professional people. Is that really how all old people are viewed by the young? Just fit for Bingo? Pity there isn't a police car around when a film ends, not sure I'd like to do that again. maybe that was why the hall was half full.

You may be interested in viewing the thread about anti-social behavious on the Green, as a lot of the issues are related and a plan of action is emerging.
