uPVC windows - Marian (26th Nov 2012 - 15:51:42) We want to replace our old wooden framed windows with uPVC ones (Canada Way estate). Quotes from the local companies have been hugely varied, some costing twice as much as others. Can anyone who has had this work done recommend a local company? We'd like to avoid the big national firms if possible - too many horror stories about hard sell etc. Thanks.

Re: uPVC windows - Phil (26th Nov 2012 - 22:56:04) Hi, we had the same type wooden windows replaced last year by Anglian. All went well and no complaints with the quality or workmanship. Would happily recommend them, although they were not cheap.

They're not the cheapest, but for this type of thing, quality and service are worth the extra! I've done the cheap route before, and regretted it!
