More housing, more families, same services....

Even as a resident of only 6 years in liphook, I have seen a marked increase in the number of dwellings either having been built or being proposed here in Liphook.
Whislt I appreciate the need and requirement for extra housing, how are local services meant to adapt to an increase in population. Personally I feel that Liphook is somewhat lacking in terms of retail and leisure facilities, especially for families with younger children.
No doubt people will disagree and I can understand the desire to protect the 'village' atmosphere of liphook.

Hate to answer a question with a question, but what sort of Retail/Leisure would you like to see?? And where would you like to see it?
