The LiDBA 2012 Charity Bike Ride was a great success and raised over £43,000 for local charities.
The amount of money raised was greatly enhanced by the number of companies and other organisations that sponsored the event.

Many local businesses have been circulated by email and post regarding the sponsorship opportunities available in supporting this very successful local Charity Bike Ride annual event.
Responses are now being received, but if your business has not been contacted please review the information on this Talkback article to consider whether or not you would like to be a sponsor.

We have had a good response to our search for Sponsors for the 2013 Charity Bike Ride to be held on 9th June 2013.
However there are still opportunities to support this major local event; which raises funds to help many local charities.
Adverts in the Bike Ride brochure, sponsoring the refreshment stops, signage and the junior ride are still available.

There has been an excellent response to our request for sponsors for the Bike Ride. The inclusion of adverts in the Bike Ride Brochure is now closed as we have to meet printing dead lines.
However there are still opportunities available for potential sponsorship of the Refreshment Stops [£150 each] and some of The ‘Miles to Go Signs’ [£100 each].
Also, donations are always welcome to help the cost associated with running the event.
All Sponsors will be acknowledged both on our web site and in the local newspaper reports on the Ride.

Please note that the 23rd Ride will take place on Sunday 9th June 2013 starting at 10.00 a.m. Entry forms will be available on the www.lidba.co.uk web site and from local shops in early April.
In the meantime why not get into training so that you are ready to take part and enjoy this historically successful event in support of local charities?
