New 'Culture' Exhibition - purplecurly (13th Aug 2007 - 18:09:22) I have just heard that the new exhibition is.. 'Photography with a local connection' It opens on Wednesday 14th Aug from 7 - 9 pm and will run until 14th Sept. I am really looking forward to it - some of the artwork they had in there last week was beautiful. See you there PC

Re: New 'Culture' Exhibition - Billy (13th Aug 2007 - 22:01:43) Sorry to have to say, but I must go there on their off times - as all I saw was 'Art' similar to potato prints my kids did when tiny. (There was ONE good art piece, split into 3 sections - still not my cup of tea). Maybe I don't have a good eye for the finer arty stuff. Will try again for a third time, as I would like to support new businesses in Liphook.

Yes, the lady who looks after the place in the day time often has her children with her after and encourages them to be artistic whilst they are there. I don't think that those particular items are for sale - or maybe they are a little children to children enterprise LOL NO. The REAL art and artwork are generally displayed around the launch evening of that particular artist. (So I am led to believe - I'm not an expert). Maybe someone from "Culture" could post here and explain................. PC

Re: New 'Culture' Exhibition - LippyChick (16th Aug 2007 - 08:08:12) I was really impressed at the diversity of the photographs at this months exhibition, and would encourage anyone to drop in and take a look. A real mix of artists, from established names to extremely promising new local talent. Excellent stuff Lips x
