TV Engineer

Is there anybody available to help me with my TV please? Sky Plus a problem.

Hi Jill
Obviously I don't know the problem you're having with Sky Plus but we sometimes have times where it seems to freeze. All we've had to do in the past is remove the plug from the wall socket, to completely prevent electrical current running through, and leaving it for about 2 minutes then replug. It then takes about 5 minutes for Sky to fully reinstall itself.

Hi , we had exactly the same problem, I called sky on the customer service number and they told me new software was been downloaded and she went through how to do it over the phone . Worth a go and coud save you cost of an engineer .

+1 about the recommendation to phone sky.
They are very efficient and always sort out problems over the phone. Absolutely do this before paying for an engineer.

Thank you everyone - I did 'phone Sky and spent 1/2 hour with them. They tell me it is the box - however Steve came out and tells me Box is O.K. - it is the dish that has slipt - we shall see - Sky Engineer coming out on Tuesday with new box!
