Where can I get a rug cleaned? - gen (18th Jun 2007 - 18:58:02) I need to get a large (approx 7 ft diameter) rug cleaned. Can anyone help with a contact who'll do it properly? In my last house I had a firm of carpet cleaners in do go over my carpets and didn't think much of the results - one of these firms that ring up 'when they're in the area'. If someone has a trusted contact, that would be absolutely great. Thanks!

Re: Where can I get a rug cleaned? - Jay (21st Jul 2007 - 11:13:58) Others might be interested to know that, since being told at Carpetbaggers that they couldn't help me, and that my best option was to hire a machine from B&Q, I saw a company cleaning someone's carpets in situ. Their van had the name ‘Ambassadors - Carpet Cleaners’ on the side. They were happy to clean my rug at a very reasonable cost and made a good job of it. They are at Bramshott and their telephone number is 01428 722551.
