A similar proposal was turned down not too long ago - even went to appeal and failed. Difficult to see what has changed.

The posting was for information only. Residents can look on the website and decide whether they want to comment or not. Any comments made on Talkback would be noted and taken into the Parish Plan if they are felt to be relevant. It appears that many of the reasons that the original appeal was refused have now been addressed.

My posting is also for information only. (What else?!) I think you will find that the key grounds for refusal of the previous application have not been addressed.

After pressure from the Parish Council, there is to be a public consultation at the Millennium Centre next week to get views and opinions from local people who may either not know where all the proposed new building sites are – or have an opinion on where they should or should not be.
It is being run by EHDC so is a chance to actually talk to the Decision Makers.
Tuesday 17 June, from 3.30-8pm
This is a FIRST for the village and very important for locals to make their points of view heard to the people who are able to listen and take notice.
Please make your best efforts to attend; it is open till late so you can go after work as well. It will be too late to complain if things get built in your back garden next year and you didn’t turn up to tell them not to!
