Electrical interruption - E (9th Oct 2012 - 22:26:35) Hi, Has anyone else experienced an interruption to the power at around 10:05pm tonight? We lost ours in 2 quick succession blips and I believe it has broken some of my equipment. Has anyone else experienced this tonight?

Re: Electrical interruption - Lindsay (10th Oct 2012 - 08:44:34) Hi, Yes, had the same problem in Griggs Green. My main power ring RCD tripped. I also know it was experienced in Liss too. It could have been a fault at the Langley Substation which feeds most of this area. Very strange.

Re: Electrical interruption - Lindsay (10th Oct 2012 - 08:54:37) I have just spoken to Southern Electric and they tell me 7000 homes were impacted by this and the electricity was lost for 1 hour 15 mins. The fault has now been fixed.

Re: Electrical interruption - Nick (10th Oct 2012 - 16:22:55) We have lived in Liphook for 12 years and power failures have been common throughout this period. Most last only a few seconds. Long enough to do damage. They have recently become more frequent however.
