Teenagers
- Karin (5th Jun 2007 - 09:27:31)

I am thinking of moving to Liphook. I have a 14 year old daughter. What do teenagers do in their spare time? I am a bit worried that it is a bit too quiet? Is Guildford the best place to go shopping?

Thanks.

Liphook is a great place with great schools. The best place to clothes shop I suppose is Guildford but Porstmouth is only 30 mins away and Petersfiled and Waterlooville are very close with quite a few shops. Depends what u mean by 'shopping' there are also some great shops in Liphook too. As for what teenagers do mine is only 11 so cant help u there really!best of luck with the move

There are loads of clubs for hobbies, sport etc. Try and get hold of a copy of the Liphook Community Magazine if you can for a list. There's a library in Liphook and the Parish Council offices in Midhurst Rd may also be able to help. Liphook is a great place and is within easy driving or train distance of Portsmouth and Guildford. I hope the move goes well.

My lads prefer going down to GunWharfQuays instead of Guildford. Great designer shopping, bowling and Cinema.

Alton also good for catching the films you missed and need to catch up on. I think that is the No 31 bus.

Also the curcular bus route takes them close enough to Mill chase swimming pool.

The ranges are great for cycling around or walking around. Picking up spent ammunition...hanging out around the beautiful lake there..

It is quiet here, that is true, but thats what the countryside is all about isn't it. Still only 55 mins to Waterloo even though the trains are rubbish now.
