Is anyone else having difficulty viewing the photos from the link to the left of this page?

Nope! Sounds like your Browser is struggling. Do you have problems opening images on other websites?

I never have any problems seeing photos or other pictures, which is why it surprised me. At first I could just get the page with the arrows directing you to the various photos, say 1-13, but now, when I click the links, even they don't work anymore.

When I click the maps (just under photos) they come up fine, so do all other photos elswhere on site.
It is BRILLIANT site, by the way, with just about everything you could wish for, even television programmes.

Gen,
Obviously its hit and miss - i have just tried, and pics are fine. I have problems with sending messages though, if I have miss-typed my e-mail, the whole text vanishes, instead of allowing me to change the mail address as it has in the past - very annoying, when an epic has been typed!!!

No problem viewing the photos that are there but what I cannot understand is why there is none of the old OSU site that so many people wish was still there. It must have been charming.

If I'm going to write a soliloquy I usually write it in Word and then copy and paste it to Talkback. Especially useful if your internet connection fails halfway through writing.

Duncan - it the photos on the left as you read this page - 5th item under NEW Local shops.
I really am disappointed not to be able to see them - Steve can't get them either. I wonder why? I have never had difficulty seeing pics on any other website. When I click on photos, and then on the hyperlinks of Liphook Square etc, I do now get a change of page witgh arrows telling me to scroll form 1-12 etc, but no actual picture.
There must be someone out there who can offer advice - what can be different about this website compared with the hundreds of others that are up for viewing?
[editor - we have had the pictures tested by others and can find no problems. Those who can't see them please confirm the operating system and web browser you use, thanks]

In the Firefox browser there is an option to turn off the loading of images automatically. Look in Tools/options. It might be the same for other browsers e.g. Explorer.

No probs seeing the photos at all here....but I don't think some of them are very interesting :(
There's so much lovely scenery around Liphook....come on people let's have some lovely views of Radford Park and the surrounding countryside :)....better than a heap of bicycles!!!

I've had a look at Internet Options/advanced but photos are enabled. Can't think what else to try. Funny it should apply to the ads on the right as well. It is all very puzzling and irritating - I am like a dog with a bone, just can't let it go until it's sorted.

Eneida, at this moment in time I would be very happy to see a heap of ANYTHING if it was in the photos on the left!
I've looked at them on another computer and I think most of them are very good. just can't see them here...

Doesn't seem to be anything else I can try - I've ticked 'placeholders' on tools/internet options/ advanced, but even little red crosses where the photos should be don't appear. I'm foxed!

Partial success! If I turn off the my Nortons Personal Firewall (2003 version) I can view the photos. Which is great, except I don't really want to leave it off permanently.
Does anyone know how to adjust the settings?

I've had a look at the pictures and personally I feel that they are pretty poor! It does not capture the beauty of liphook at all... the pictures in Radford Park display horrible, dirty water rather than the pretty sights that nature has provided. And the pictures of the village are very dated, how about some new pictures, and decent ones! They still have Alldays in! To be honest these pictures are just dull and don't exactly show Liphook's best side!
[editor - These pictures were taken several years ago. You are more than welcome to supply replacement digital images to be put on the site. I'm sure you will be able to show the brighter side of the Liphook]
