Talking about planning,how many people in the village know of the proposed plans by a developer to build 40 cottages and extra care facilities providing approximately 50 units of accommodation including studios,1bed apartments and2-bed apartments south of Hewshott Lane. What is happening to our lovely village How many more care homes and retirement places do we need?There is a forum to be held in the Council Chamber Penns Place Petersfield on 11 October 2012 to discuss the matter

There was another earlier posting on 26 September about this proposal. As it appears that the public have not been invited to speak perhaps anyone who has concerns and cannot attend the Forum should post those concerns here.
I am sure our local councillors will take your comments to the Forum.

This meeting has now been cancelled to allow developers further time prior to addressing the forum
