I hope that you dont mind me posting this. - Ruth (4th May 2007 - 11:35:31) I have been working on a website that is dedicated to my mother who I lost in January this year. RA is a terrible illness and so little is done to treat it in this country. Despite it being available in Spain on the National Health, the treatment with Remicade is rarely offered here, yet my friend in Spain goes in for her treatment once every two months and is absolutely marvellous afterwards. We are the third world country in this respect, unfortunately. I have a friend who is suffering so cruelly, yet all they give her is painkillers and AI drugs, which do very little to help. Good luck with your mission.

I am hoping that she gets all the support she/he needs. There are some useful links on my website that can give further information on the subject. People who are going through such times are the reason why I am running, the area needs more research to find better drugs and preventions. I will post the website address again nearer the time when I undertake my challenge so if anyone wants to sponsor me at a later date then they can!!!
