Development Consultation Forum - Bramshott Place Phase 4 - James (26th Sep 2012 - 17:34:49) I have received notification from EHDC of Phase 4 of the Bramshott Place development (presumably because I objected to the original development). I quote: “The Council has decided to hold a Forum to discuss the following proposal: Site address: Bramshott Place Phase 4 Site, King Georges Drive, Liphook Proposal: 40 cottages and extra care facility providing approximately 50 units of accommodation including studios, 1-bed apartments and 2-bed apartments, located on land to the east of the existing retirement village, south of Hewshott Lane”. The forum is to be held at the Council Chamber, Penns Place on October 11th at 6.30pm. There will be a presentation by the developer followed by a Council discussion. "The Council hopes.....the developer will be better informed as to the community's expectations..." Only ‘invited stakeholders’ such as councillors and council officers may speak. Apparently the public are not regarded as stakeholders. Not really a forum at all then.
