Bohunt Manor - Sold - Callum (27th Apr 2007 - 17:50:35) Today when I walked down Portsmouth Road I realised that after many speculations that had been going around that Bohunt Manor was up for sale were true, as the 'SOLD' sign was outside the manor today, and the property sellers were Cornishe Estates. Does anyone know anything about the new buyer?

Re: Bohunt Manor - Sold - Anne (28th Apr 2007 - 09:43:16) In reply to your query Callum I believe the local company of IML have purchased Bohunt Manor they intend yo use it for their business which is producing hand held keypads and the like as used in T.V. voting competitions etc. It is good news that a local company will be moving there and their presentation in February at the local planning meeting was very informative. They intend to keep any alterations to the Manor House within keeping of its present style and said they may consider opening the gardens to the Public on certain days of the year as and when things have been sorted.

For what purpose - we will have to wait and see. Perhaps in 5-10 years time?? [editor - 7.6 acres were sold with planning consent - Character Barn with planning permission to convert]
