Calling all 4x4 owners! - Ben Lawrance (16th Apr 2007 - 18:00:01) Hi all, As most of you will be aware, Gig In The Garden (in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care) is fast approaching us, and I am working heavily to organise this years bash. Unfortunatly we have lost one of our key team members this year, and I have found myself stuck without a 4x4 to tow the generator. I am looking to find someone who owns a 4x4 (Land Rover or equivalent) to help us out and do some towing for us. Your time will not go unappreciated, and diesel will be covered. The event is on Saturday 11th August, with the intention of collecting the genset (from Portsmouth) on the Thursday before (the 9th) and returning it before the following Thursday (the 16th) If anyone can, or knows somebody who can help us, please get in contact either by replying in this thread, or by e-mailing me on info@gitg.org. I could collect for you but afraid can't deliver back, I'am off on hols on the Saturday. I've also got a large flatbed trailor if it has to be lifted. Let me know. Regards, Steve.

This 4x4 works for a living, rather than taking Tarquin & Buttercup on the school run. LOL. Regards, Steve ps Double check its a ball hitch and not ring and pin.
