Re: A Curious Black..... - Paul Robinson (15th Mar 2007 - 12:52:00) I too missed the announcement but I am told that it is for the collection of glass bottles and jars which will be made once a month along with the recycling bin. I don't know about anyone else but the size of the box seems to be a considerable underestimate on the actual alcohol consumption level chez Robinson!

[editor - you need to drink more] Will we have the recycling police coming round to have a look in them, they popped up the road a couple of weeks ago looking in the save the planet bins.

Re: A Curious Black..... - sue (20th Mar 2007 - 20:39:50) Its so refreshing to find that some of these communications are funny - much better than moaning all the time, I have only just discovered this site and have replied to nearly everything. I did understand from reading an article that this is just another Gov, ploy to find out how serious the drink problem is in some areas, and to try to tax the flushings of those consuming more than the average, because it will damage the enviroment. My husband came up the another silly tax system - how many times you had sex, and performance related penalties - probably this will appear in the next budget!! (lucky its not 1st April yet)
