Bramshott and Liphook Preservation Society
- William Moyer (20th Feb 2007 - 23:27:43)

I am trying to obtain an e-mail address for the Bramshott and Liphook Preservation Society. I have a book by Jimmie Howcroft published in 1916. Jimmie was a WW1 pilot who was a bit of a local hero in Liphook in his day, but I have been able to find out nothing about the man outside of the information provided in the front cover of his book. Has anyone heard of Jimmie? My great uncle was a Canadian soldier who died in WW1 from mustard gas poisoning and I inherited his library. Howcroft's book was included. I would be grateful if someone could provide an e-mail address for the Society as I would like to see if they would be interested in obtaining my copy of Howcroft's book as a gift. It's titled "The Songs of a Broken Airman." Thank you for your help. Sincerely, William Moyer, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hi

Not sure of an e-mail address but the treasurer is Davield Barfield, Tylston Cottage, Tunbridge Lane, Liphook, Hampshire, GU30 7QA.

You could try writing to him?

Good luck

Katy

The Liphook Community Magazine lists the Bramshott and Liphook Preservatio Society at 12 London Road,
Liphook. No email address, but the telephone number is 44 1428 722162 The President of the Society is, I believe, Adrian Bird.

Hope this helps

Bob
