Station Cycle Lockers - JamesG (10th Sep 2012 - 09:14:49) Hi, Does anyone know how you hire one of the cycle lockers at the station? I have called the SWT number, and they put my through to a lady in India who said there are no lockers at the station. Thanks

Re: Station Cycle Lockers - Catherine (11th Sep 2012 - 11:06:36) Hello if you speak to Ray in the ticket office at Liphook I think he should be able to help you, I've seen him helping someone else out with a locker recently, although must admit to not having used this service myself!

Re: Station Cycle Lockers - Susie (11th Sep 2012 - 19:40:30) Talking of Ray he told me recently that they are thinking of closing the liphook ticket office and are looking at how much of their business goes through him. If you are able to buy railcards through him rather than doing it on line it might save our ticket office (and he might forgive me for not doing that with mine). I've seen him undertaking some great tourist relations work this summer and although he sometimes seems a bit of a grump he is very nice if you smile and will always help you as much as he can. Please don't use this as an opportunity to put him down, there is always someone waiting to be negative and thats not why I've pasted this to get into an argumnet. It's not good for your Karma. I'm full of peace and love after our wonderful summer of Britishism.

Re: Station Cycle Lockers - James Perrett (12th Sep 2012 - 12:59:28) I'm amazed to hear that Ray is still there - he must be close to retirement by now as he has been working at the station for as long as I can remember (at least 40 years). I travelled to school by train and found he was always very polite and helpful provided you were polite in return. James
