Bohunt Manor
- lisa (15th Feb 2007 - 15:28:10)

What great news in the Liphook Herald today - IML are going to stay in our village and not move to Portsmouth. Bohunt Manor should once again be accessible to more people, even if they are only working there, and most importantly, we are keeping jobs in our village and not seeing them go to places like Portsmouth or Guildford. Perhaps we could ask about the odd day for public access when we can all once again enjoy walks around the lakes and woods

I'd just like to say what a pleasure it was to hear about a successful local business, that is prepared to invest in its people and its community, that will hopefully find a long term home in a sensitively restored and updated Bohunt Manor.

IML gave a really positive presentation - including an offer to negotiate over public access to the site/use of the outdoor theatre space. Such a stark contrast to the land grabbing development schemes that seem to dominate the majority of planning applications.

Anybody know why the "For Sale" sign has reappeared?

Passed the sign yesterday and it is a SOLD one - maybe it could have been for one of the other properties down there?

I think the mystery is now solved. There is a new sign a little way down from the SOLD sign for the manor with a tiny little sign saying 3 bed semi underneath. Same agents as the Manor but a little smaller I think!!!

Oh good, I was concerned that the IML deal had fallen through

No surprise really Eneida, the Herald paper always has been a leader on the cutting edge of investigative journalism. LOL.

Surprised to read that there is news in the Liphook Herald and that some one still reads it.
I thought the Herald was a estate agents advertising tool and this site was the local news stand
