A Dangerous Place to Cross!!!!! - purplecurly (9th Feb 2007 - 09:29:17) Does anyone know who owns the strip of verge to the right of Bohunt’s main entrance (if facing the school)? It strikes me that this has been totally hijacked by the Volvo dealership which I find very annoying as it is the only potentially safe place for Children to cross to get into Bohunt when approaching from the Avenue. I nearly hit a gormless teenager who was ambling across the road right in front of the entrance just as I was accelerating to exit the school today!! It shook me up a bit (although Mr Gormless didn’t seem bothered). Before you question my driving in – I come from Passfield and 2½ miles in the slush isn’t an acceptable walk. I know this sounds like a rant, but WHY is this verge not used? – pavement would be a nice idea for a start! It would not be a huge expense and would prevent teenagers with no road sense whatsoever from throwing themselves in front of your vehicles right outside the exit!
