Interruption of Electricity. Wed 31st Jan.

I would like to thank SSE Power Distribution (07767 850122) for their timely announcement that we have have no electricity next wednesday between 8:30 and 4pm, due to work on the Passfield Common Area.
I think that it is a superb time of year to be contemplating doing such work and I'm sure the many people affected won't mind being without heat during this the coldest time of the year.................
I see absolutely no reason whatsoever to schedule essential works such as these during the summer months which are consequently warmer and lighter.

Nice of them to let us know when they plan to deliberately disrupt the service but what about the almost daily interuptions to service that last only a few minutes but create half an hour's work chasing round resetting heating timers, bedside alarm clocks and work in progress on the computer.
Why Liphook again?
