Don't like to sound pessimistic, but what's the point?
I get the impression that government wants more houses, millions of them and it doesn't care where. Bordon has put itself up for a few thousand and application greedily accepted under the shallow excuse that it's all going to be amazingly green or something!
Well now I doubt the Whitehall mandarins are really going to listen to the people who live thereabouts and will actually be affected, it's over to the developers .
If I've missed anything and there really is anything we can do, please clarify. Thanks.

I have heard that the army are not ready to leave Borden yet so perhaps it will be a few years yet. It is now a privately funded thing and is not likely to get any more massive government handouts?
