Radford Park - birds

Hi
I wonder if anyone knows if there has been a study of wild birds at Radford Park or if there are any keen birdwatchers out there who can provide me with a list? The reason I ask is that I am hoping I can encourage the Parish Council to install bird/box/insect boxes to encourage wild life and involve the local children in nature etc.
I would be most grateful for any lists/groups or sitings. The rarer the better!

Many years ago when I was a kiddy I use to fish at Radford Park and one day there I saw the most beautiful bird I have ever seen in my life. A kingfisher, absolutly stunning looking creature.
