Planning Forum
- Niall Greenwood (3rd Oct 2006 - 16:46:50)

According to the Herald there will be a planning forum next Wednesday 11th October 2006, in the Millenium Hall, I don't know whether there is an agenda up for discussion, but I have been asked to raise the following issues (by a neighbour without the internet!);

* 'Travellers' camp sites (I assume they need pp?)
* Why the King George hospital site was given pp
* As the King George's site has been given pp for a retirement development (as well as for market properties) do we need another retirement village on the old OSU site?

I'm sure there will be plenty of other 'issues'...

I'm glad you (or your neighbour) have highlighted the retirement village(s) question Niall. I'm also concerned as to how Liphook could support two such places and was really surprised to read that the OSU site was being considered for a retirement complex.

I'm totally opposed to that idea.

By the way, the meeting is at 7.00pm, for anyone who missed the article in the Herald.
