seeing as some of you would like to know more about local events in the area i thought id post one on here well in advance so you can book it in your diary now!!
selborne is holding its second "zig zag festival" which is to be held over two days the 7th and 8th of october tickets are £4.50 in advance or £5 on the day.
its a great chance to come and try some local beers and also have a look round the recently voted "best village in hampshire"
if you would like tickets in advance come and see Natalie or David at THE QUEENS selborne.

Nat - looks like something not to be missed - it will be good to taste local produce of the alcoholic variety !
Will there be any other local produce for sale - maybe on your menu ?

Hi thanks for reply M.A in answer to your question yes.
david mccoy and his new chef have done a whole new menu available from this week. All the dishes are home made using the freshest local produce and most of the dishes are actually cooked to order!!
there will also be some live music in the queens during the beer festival weekend.
we have also got our christmas menu(available from november) for anyone organised enough to be thinking about booking a party its delicious aside from the traditional hampshire turkey the menu includes things swordfish steaks and wild boar!!
