Rotary Club for Liphook
- Sean Jeffery (24th Jul 2012 - 16:22:32)
Hi,
My name is Sean Jeffery and I would like to start a Rotary Club in Liphook. If anyone would be interested in becoming a member of the club please contact me via this talkback forum.
If enough people would be interested then I will look into this further and contact Rotary International in order to start the application process. So if you would like to be part of a freindly club who meet regulary for the benefit of the village and to raise money for local charities at the same time please get in touch.
Many thanks

Hi,
Many thanks to Graeme & Boris for your response to my wish to start a Rotary Club in Liphook.
I will need to have at least 10 members in order to contact the District Governor for this area who will oversee the process.
I am really keen to get this started as Liphook is a great Village with a real community spirit and I think it is the perfect place for a Rotary Club. I am an experienced Rotarian having been Secretary for Haslemere Rotary Club for the past 2 years until recently.
These clubs are a great way for businesses to get together and help support local charities as well as national ones and also have fun and meet new freinds and contacts.
If anyone reads this and is not sure what Rotary is all about then I suggest you visit- www.rotary.org and here you can find out more about Rotary International.
For Graeme & Boris if you would like to contact me to find out more then my email address is sean.jeffery7@gmail.com
Many thanks.

Hi,
Would all those who have expressed an interest in starting a Rotary Club in Liphook with me please email your contact details to me at sean.jeffery7@gmail.com
I now have enough interested people to contact Rotary International and start the process.
I would therefore like to arrange a date whereby we can all meet and discuss the club in further detail.
Many thanks
Sean

Dear Sean
I saw your leaflet in the Picture Framing shop in Liphook and would be interested in joining in the fun.
I used to be a Rotarian, but business travel and house moves precluded me having a steady Club to attend.
I was initially in Andover Rotary club (1983-1988), then Itchen Valley Rotary(1988 - 1992) and then lastly, Harrow Rotary club (1992 - 1998) I then moved house and business to Ipswich and finally back to Headley. My work entailed a lot of travelling, but now that I could be classed 'senior active', it would be nice to get back into the frenzied world of Rotary again.
Call me on 01428 713621
Kind regards
Tom Moloney
